BROOKLAND DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION INC.(DBA BROOKLAND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION INC) is an International non- profit corporation that qualifies as an exempt organization under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. as now enacted or hereafter amended, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that also qualify as Section 501(c)(3) exempt organizations.

BCDO was established exclusively for charitable, health and educational purposes.  Incorporated since 2008, BCDO is managed by a Board of Directors, one of whom is the President/CEO of the Executive Board. The Board members are of diverse nationalities and background dedicated to the mission of the organization.

Founded by Sierra Leoneans and Non-Sierra Leoneans dedicated to improving the lives of all people.  Qur goal is to promote the general health, education and well-being of the underserved population through education, health services, and training opportunities.

BCDO is also working with a coalition of experts that seek to re-build the general infrastrucure in Sierra Leone. To this end, the corporation shall inclusively operate to address the urgent situation of the Ebola and the health care system, capacity building, and financial needs in Sierra Leone.   This coalition with garner the help of the diaspora professionals in all fields to put all hands on deck to tackle these problems

  Our goals is to promote the general health and well-being of the underserved population in these communities through education , health services, and training opportunities.


We hope to operate worldwide as a private, independent non-profit, development-oriented and voluntary non governmental organization.  This will enable us to establish and execute our programs for the benefits of our targeted population as identified by our donors, local governments and communities we intend to serve. 


We intend to cooperate with all authorities in implementing our operations in accordance with the laws and regulations in force and in consonance with vital economic development programs worldwide.   

We are transparent and accountable to our donors, the authorities in our use of funds and make available to them all our audited reports.
